There's a Chill in The Air
Aaahhhh, just when I was getting used to the heat and being reminded of home, NY comes through and sends a quick and chilly reminder that I am indeed FAR away from my beloved So Cal. The tempuratures dropped and NY got cold! It is pretty windy here too. The best part....it gest WORSE soon. Oh my! I am not looking forward to the wind chill while its 30 dgs outside.
It was nice though, I pulled out my winter stuff and tucked away the tank and tube tops. I am having to deal with the fact that flip flops will probably NOT work anymore. I am still in a bit of denial over this since I really am so used to those damn flip flops. Its like not wearing shoes...love it! But alas, the boots and close-toed shoes are making an unwelcomed reappearance in my room. I am excited to wear my scarves and caps again..yay!
Unlike the summer, I can send a big thank you to my apt owners who actually make sure my apt is HEATED. There is a god. I still miss central heating adn air in So Cal though. My place is nice and toasty though.....almost can't tell its cold outside.
My Ash-kosh=bigosh returned from the west yesterday and is nice and cozy in my livingroom. Her and the Divilicious man of hers and I all stayed up late laughing and admiring my new drapes. I am pretty sure she was happy the heat was working....she shed like at least 15 lbs over the past month. Bitch! lol you know i love you, but eat a bagel will ya!
So.....The cold has arrived, only to get colder and I am just hoping that i can last from now until May when it warms up again. I only had like three months of cold weather when I came earlier this year....Now i have to endure now till April???? OH shite! No worries though....the girls will still be making regular appearances upon request. HAHA!
Well...if you all stop hearing from me, check around 57th and 6th for a frozen blonde. Just keep chipping away till you see that I look about 20 lbs lighter...ya...that'll do! LOL
Oh, it must be noted...its like 85 dgs in LA right now. I love it...We don't even think about the cold until Jan at home when it hits the super low tempurature of 55! hahahahha.

COLD? what the hell is that? Sophia and I actually layed out by the pool on our lunch breaks yesturday! Im crappin' you negative, we did this! Im as tan as I was in July right now! But i hope it snows when i get there in December! I want to see Winter! then come home to perpetual summer!
